Calera de Tango is located in the southern sector of the Metropolitan Region, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Santiago. It is a rural commune located in the Maipo province. It is characterized as a quiet area, with a strong seal of countryside that is recognized both in the profile of its streets and in its centuries-old adobe buildings that are still preserved in excellent condition, today housing churches, museums and restaurants.
