Barrio Lo Castillo has positioned itself as one of the most exclusive areas to live in Santiago. It combines the luxury of its renowned restaurants, cafes, shopping malls, art galleries and high-end stores, with the quality of life provided by its tree-lined streets, parks and squares, bike paths, schools, supermarkets and excellent connectivity with other districts of the city.
It is located in the southwest sector of the Vitacura district. Its limits are given by the Mapocho River to the west, Vespucio Norte to the east and Kennedy Avenue to the south.
It is a neighborhood characterized by its low density and large amount of green areas. Most of its streets are residential, with one- or two-story houses, embassies and some buildings of up to four stories. The greatest height is concentrated towards Av. Bicentenario, in front of the park of the same name, where some apartment towers and several institutional buildings are raised.
