The Carretera Austral (Route 7) is a highway that runs through the southernmost part of Chile. With more than 1,200 kilometers that crosses the magnificent Andean-Patagonian forests, nature reserves, rivers, lakes and even huge glaciers that will leave you amazed. It connects Chilean Patagonia from Puerto Montt in the Los Lagos Region to the town of Villa O’Higgins in the Aysen Region.
